I'm not much into monsters, not really huge into Halloween. I need two cards every year for my grands, that's it. But I love animated movies and I thought of the movie Monsters Inc., a Pixar movie about two monsters whose job is to scare kids at night. You know, the monster in the closet or under the bed.
I had this cheap silly 'monster' stamp and I'm sure one of the monsters in that movie has multiple eyes on antennae. Stamped him on a circle of white in a variety of colors, added some black Sharpie in a few spots, used a really ugly gel plate print with Marabu easy marble that looked like blood, I thought, cut a smaller circle in that and popped it up over the white circle, then looked for a quote from the movie. There weren't a lot that could used out of context but I thought this was funny....odorant instead of deodorant. It made me think of my silly daughter who, when she was young, had friends who loved to have their own silly language and they called deodorant 'odorant-de'. I know, you have to be 12 to laugh.
If you don't know the movie, check it out! It's cute and fun! Kitty!

For a cheapy, your monster sure is cute and is as good as any fancy monster set! Your galaxy looks fabulous! I loved Monsters Inc. I am pretty sure we took the kids to see it at the theater.

I'm seeing all kinds of things in that bg panel, Jean. I'd better stop looking. Anyhow, the monster panel looks pretty cute and perfect for the grands~
